Temitope Osoba Burial Set for Thursday 10 September in Iperu Remo

The family of late Nollywood star Temitope Osoba has released a fresh burial notice after postponing the original funeral scheduled for 13 August. The announcement was made on the actress' official Instagram page on 7 September 2026. According to the post, the burial will take place on Thursday, 10 September 2026 in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

The body will depart from Ogun State University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH) in Sagamu at 9:00 a.m. on the same day. A short procession will then move the remains to Akesan Club, which is situated opposite the Iperu Morning Market. The burial service is slated to run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The family has asked that all attendees wear white as a sign of respect and unity.

Immediately after the service, the interment will be carried out at the Iperu Remo Cemetery Ground. The notice did not mention any special religious rites, but it stressed that the gathering should be calm and orderly. The Osoba family, together with the Awonuga family, are handling the arrangements and have asked the public to respect the privacy of the relatives during this period.

The family’s Instagram notice read: “Body leaves OSUTH Sagamu by 9am. Burial service Thursday 10th of September, 10:00am–11:00am, Akesan Club opposite Iperu Morning Market, Iperu Remo.” They added that the interment will follow straight after the service at the Iperu Remo Cemetery Ground.
